No satellite signal

I need someone to call out. No tv for 4 days. If this isn't sorted before I will not be paying my tv bill 👍

@Niallus
If a message displays “no satellite signal” firstly check that the connections from the Sky dish going into the back of your Sky Q box are still finger tight. Otherwise it’s likely to be a dish alignment issue so check the troubleshooting in this link
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-tv-no-satellite-signal-sky-q
It may then give you the opportunity to arrange an engineer to check the alignment of your dish. If it doesn’t you’ll need to contact Sky to book an engineer appointment.

If you are connected to a communal dish you need to liaise with your building management company / landlord who will have their approved engineers to contact.

Remember, a misalignment is not necessarily something that will be visible to the naked eye and could only affect one or two channels.

Very unwise to stop payment. You'll be in breach of contract, Sky will restrict your services, add on late payment fees and potentially pass the debt to a debt collection company.

Hi @Niallus

Afraid you are not contacting Sky directly here as this is a customer forum.
If you need to contact them you need to persevere by phone.
To contact Sky
Select Need more help
at the bottom of the following link and this will lead to a phone contact.
Ignore all automated messages and wait for an agent
https://www.sky.com/help/home

Regarding your issue

Work through the following link and if you cannot solve your issue it will lead to booking a Engineer.
Alternately, if you are on a Communal Dish you will need to contact your Landlord or Management company.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-tv-no-satellite-signal-sky-q

Just be aware the worst thing you can do is stop paying your bill.

This could adversely affect your credit rating  and Sky will discontinue any communication until your payments are made.

This doesn't get the response you'd hope.  Once you report this to Sky and is fixed you can ask for a credit to be applied to your bill.  Withholding payment won't end well.

It's possible Sky won't be able to attend until after Christmas - you may wish to consider paying a local firm if so.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
