No satellite signal on most channels

Just moved to new house with shared satellite dish.  Dish showing ticked and locked in sky Q but only a few channels are accessible. Most show no satellite signal including BBC 1 Hd but I can get ITV 1 HD.

Take a look at the troubleshooting on the appropriate section of this link. .

You may then need to contact your landlord or building management company, not Sky. They can arrange a check of the equipment and dish alignment.

When you say 'shared dish', does this mean that your new property is being served by a professional communal Integrated Reception System (IRS) installation, or is your new property actually 'sharing' the LNB output from a residential satellite dish, between two different properties?

Thanks for the advise. I have already been through the help articles with no change.  It is a new build housing with a new communal satellite setup by the builders and I've been told neighbours are already using sky with no issues.  I'm using the same sky q box and connections from my old place.

Was your old place also fed by a comuunal System ?

@Markh2021  If your previous property had its own individual satellite dish, fitted with a wideband LNB, have you re-configured your Sky Q receiver to now be using Single Cable Router (SCR) LNB mode? 

Are the neighbours who are using the system with no problems using Sky Q or Sky+HD receivers?

Yes previous place was via communal satellite with no issues and already checked sky q set to SCR

i will have to check to make sure neighbours are also using Sky Q but it's strange I can get about 90% of non HD channels but only the odd HD channel. Ie ITV1 HD.
