No satellite signal on mini box

My main box is working fine, mini box is connected to it and has internet connection BUT it's saying no satellite signal - have reset and still doesn't fix it. Any ideas??

hi @Jamrob612 

 

Even though the main box is working for itself it supplies the signal to the mini box

 

Thus may I suggest a restart of your main SKY Q box :

Use the remote to place it into standby mode
Then remove the power to it (either switch off at mains or remove the power plug)
Wait at least 30s
Then re-apply the power & wait for it to fully restart - this may take a few minutes.

Once the main box is restarted do the same power down on each of  any mini boxes.

Thanks have done that and still getting same error message. Signal to main box is "good" but strength says 50 (I assume 50%?) - main box working fine
