No satellite signal - communal dish but others getting service.

Hi

We have had no satellite service since the storms a few weeks ago. It was initally identified that this was an issue with the communal dish, however this has since been fixed and everyone else in the building as the sky tv back.

We are still getting "to use this service you need a satellite signal", and no apps are working. I have tried changing the lnb type to scr and restarting but that doesn't make a difference

Any help would be must appricaited.

Andrew

@Andrewrg when you have changed the lnb type to SCR are you then rebooting your Sky Q box ?

Yep turned it on and off again just using the remote. Is there another way to reboot to box I could try?

Yes, switch it off at the wall.  (And back on again)

@Andrewrg as @PandJ2020 says rebooting normally involves
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions

Re: No satellite signal - communal dish but others getting service.

Just tried a full reboot and no luck. When I go to settings > satellite signal>more info it is showing that the LNB type is SCR, but still no signal.

@Andrewrg I have escalated this to sky
