No network connection ,won’t accept password and have tried all options available online

I have no network connection, received a replacement box as my original box was doing the same thing so thought it was a box issue and i now  have nothing at all. Cannot register my card because I cannot connect to the internet. I have tried all steps advised online but it's still not working. Tried password for internet and it's unable to connect, says check password and try again. Done so several times

Hi @MRJJ 

Assume you have correctly carried out a Network reset on the main Q box.

Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WiFi to your router.
If you are on Sky broadband you will be asked to press the WPS button on the Sky router. (Not on the Q box as the Network reset will start the main Q box WPS automatically). Make sure you press the WPS button on the Sky router and not the reset button.
if you are on 3rd party (non Sky ) broadband then you need to enter the SSID and password for the router 2.4 Ghz WiFi band.

Plug it in over ethernet to at least get it activated.

Thank you. When i checked the router i could only see a reset button. I will check again.
