No access to TNT HD channels

I am subscribed to Sky Sports Extra, I am subscribed to Sky HD but when I select TNT HD 1, 2, 3 or 4 a message comes up saying I am not subscribed to this channel. There is nothing more for me to subscribe to, help?

Hi @Machina7

To watch any TNT channels on Sky Q you need the TNT Sports subscription

Hi @Machina7

Looks like you are not Subscribing to TNT Sports with Sky.
If you subscribe to TNT Sport through Sky (and pay Sky for your Subscription) then you can watch on Mini boxes (provided you have the necessary Monthly Multiscreen subscription). Also subscribing through Sky TNT Sport in HD is included and Discovery plus is upgraded to premium.
If you pay BT directly for TNT Sports on Sky then to receive TNT Sport on Minis you need to pay BT’s monthly second box charge. One monthly charge covers all minis. Also to receive TNT Sport in HD there is an additional BT monthly charge when subscribing though BT.

Re: No access to TNT HD channels

@oldfella I have subscribed through Sky. I'm in Ireland, I wouldn't be subscribing to BT from here.

Hi @Machina7

Not sure how it works in Ireland.

I know that Sky Sports isn't in HD as standard.

I think there is an extra HD subscription specifically for Sky Sports.

Re: No access to TNT HD channels

I've lost track with all the tweaking of packs here. I don't believe Sports comes in HD by default like it does in the UK.

I know when I subscribed it was the general HD add on that covered sports and sports extra but can't be sure as was mentioned if there's a specific sports hd add-on these days.

I suppose the first question is, do you have the HD add on for general channels? If you subscribe to the ordinary sky sports package, do you get these in hd?

if it's been for some time have the hd channels worked previously?

Re: No access to TNT HD channels

I have HD for all other channels, including the other sports channels included in the same package, except these 4. Interestingly I just checked the Sky Go app and I have TNT Sports HD 1, 2, 3 and 4 there. Must be some glitch, I've left a message for @SkyHelpIreland on Twitter. Hopefully they can shed some light in the morning.

Re: No access to TNT HD channels

Best of luck and yes sounds like something is off somewhere. Always worth a restart too if you haven't tried that - at a suitable time. Also something you can tick off the list if you get some chat going with sky.

Re: No access to TNT HD channels

Just wondering if you managed to get this sorted as mine is exactly the same, I'm in Ireland.

Thanks

Re: No access to TNT HD channels

My HD was in cancellation at the time. Had to wait for it to be cancelled and then re-subscribed and the TNT HD channels came back.

Re: No access to TNT HD channels

OK thanks for the quick reply, my HD are not being cancelled.

I called Sky today and they got me to check my resolution and software updates, but no difference.

Thanks again!
