New sky q minibox says check your subscription

I got a replacement minibox as one stopped working and I cannot get it to work.  It's connected to my network but says to "check my subscription to view channels on this box".  I have multi room subscription and the box is a replacement not additional one.  Can anyone help?

I cant watch any channel on it including BBC and ITV...

Have you tried rebooting your main Q box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions

then

reboot the mini box 

if that doesn't work

You could try refreshing your viewing card by pressing home > settings > system info > viewing card number > setup > viewing card setup press select to trigger a callback don't worry nothing to do with your phone its only Sky's terminology this will be done over the internet

Yes I tried everything up to a factory reset before switching it all off in a huff a lt 2am this morning.  Lo and behold I get in the phone queue to Sky Tech this morning and it seems to have sorted itself out 🫣  fingers crossed it's OK now.
