Recently had a new Sy Q box to replace the old one. Now the TV won't start with the Sky remote have to use the actual TV remote to select the hdmi 2 port. Even then it doesn't fire up so I have unplug everything for 30 seconds or try removing the pink hdmi from the sky box and plugging it back it. A night mare help anyone pleasr
I'm sure it's a simple fix
It worked OK when the engineer was there but there again he wouldn't be turning it on and off repeatedly

Hi @kieron+1 ,
I take it you have tried resetting the Sky remote and re-pairing it again?if not try as follows.....
On your Sky remote press and hold 7 & 9 together until it flashes 4 times, then press and hold 1 & 3 together and then follow the on screen prompts.

@kieron+1 if sky are sending you a new box by DPD then remember to REMOVE THE VIEWING CARD from your old box and check that you receive a new power cable with the new box
