New sky a box , remote won’t control tv

I've had my sky q mini  replaced as it developed a fault. My previous remote controlled my Tv however my new remote doesn't 

I have tried alsorts and even used other Tv brands just to see if they worked but they don't . 
it's a pro scan Tv can anyone help please

When you say you have tried "other Tv brands"

Do you mean different Television brands?

Did you try the category Other brands?

Hi yes tried the other brands and that didn't work , then just selected random Tv brands to try my luck bit didn't work . I know that some TVs you can use a different Tv brand as they're all made by the same manufacturer so wondered if anyone knew what the  proscan alternative could be . 
my old remote / box controlled my Tv just fine so I know it's compatible despite what it's telling me atm
