New Sky Q installed this morning

New SkyQ box installed with new satellite dish and cabling. Wont connect to the Wi-Fi, not Skys own, but had no problem with our ancient sky box. Tried to get it back to the options of Wi-Fi or Ethernet and we can’t find how to do that. This afternoon it is now displaying no satellite signal. We have constantly followed the instructions in the help sections and no good whatsoever!  Not even watched anything!

I think you'll need an engineer back I'm afraid...

 

'No satellite' signal is usually an alignment problem - but quite unusual straight after an install!

Thanks, Ive already booked it. Not even watched anything just had 1 music channel on.

but that won't help you with no satellite signal.

 

well I guess you could use streaming apps for now
