New Sky Q box showing intermittent blocky picture.

Brand new Sky Q box installed last week after old one died. Appeared fine for a day or two but then occasionally the picture would break up for a second before returning to normal. Now we see the picture breaking up every now and again and looking 'blocky' with a distinct purple colour for a good few seconds before sorting itself out. Have updated software, switched box off for a while and checked cable connections. Have I got a faulty box, do I need to exchange it? Advice appreciated.

It's unlikely to be a 'brand new' box but regardless if it's not working correctly then you'll have to contact Sky again to replace it.

 

(Presuming it's not a new dish alignment issue)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
