Hi, I think this issue may be the same as the long running '...Denon receiver goes black' but it manifests itself in a different way and is with another make of receiver so thought I'd see if anyone has solved this issue.
My setup is (recently replaced) Sky Q 2TB > Onkyo TX-NR676E > Samsung UE-40F7000
My issue is every morning my Onkyo AV receiver has been switched on by the overnight reset of the Sky box. This didn't happen with the old Sky box. I've tried turning off the HDMI control but this means that when I switch on Sky the AV Receiver initially goes to CBL/Sat but then after a few seconds it switches back to TV.
Looking at the '...Denon receiver goes black' thread it looks like something that has been fixed with newer sky boxes but in my case its got worse.
I will need to give up my full time job and switch to a full time carer for my Sky configuration soon as that takes more time.
