Sky has a problem with their server says Netflix in a discussion a few das ago.

Everyone should be getting onto Sky and complaining like hell.

What server?

What discussion?

I wouldn't waste your time. They can't fix it and you'll be on hold for god knows how long. Better off going for a nice walk or reading a book or something.

Re: Netflix app crashing/won't load

I wount bank on the £10, the email she sent didnt mention that fact !!!!!

But the fact that she offered may be a clue as to where Sky sits with all this ?

Re: Netflix app crashing/won't load

This has worked, thank you.

Tried the on/off approach but that only worked the first attempt., after that it failed to load.

This, although a little difficult to locate, has worked. Again thanks

For the life of me I can't understand why quotes aren't automatically included. I get that some posts will be become overly large but surely they could have everything but the previous post collapsed?

You keep jumping to conclusions with no evidence whatsoever.

Doesn't work for me I'm afraid. I've done all of the above, flushed my DNS etc, still nope.

How did you flush your DNS? Do you mean on your router?

They would have brought up a comand prompt from Windows and input ipconfig /flushdns

A Netflix agent told them it was a problem with Sky's servers so as information it's worthless. I blame all sorts of people at work if something breaks because we rarely find out what the actual problem is 🙂

Netflix won’t load after Prime

Hi. When I switch from Prime to Netflix, Netflix hangs (circle goes round and round). I have to switch everything off and reboot. How can this be fixed please?

Well that'll be all very good for that one PC but I don't see what it has to do with their Sky box.

Not a lot I'd imagine, but the latest posts on here are full of conjecture and wild guesses stated as fact which helps nobody.

That said I don't know what the issue is caused by so it won't do any harm, just don't expect a magic bullet.

Edit: just realised what you meant, flushing the DNS cache only clears the browser, not the router.

Re: Netflix sporadically not loading

I am also having this issue. I have tried everything suggested on this thread and still no joy. Is there any solution?!

Yeah - well, clears the IP stack on that OS affecting every app running on it including the browser.

I'm not surprised everyone is shouting at the moon on this one 😄

Re: Netflix

Yep, I've done all of that many times and it's not working again! It did work the first time I tried it....
