Re: Netflix issue

spent over 40 minutes on the phone with customer service and it needed software update (would be helpful if done automatically!) and factory restart and apps reloaded - But Netflix is working again we've been unable to watch for over a week. Good luck

Hi @Dobbydog

First make sure that all your Q boxes including the minis are on the same software version.

Then try rebooting the main Q box and then when this is completely back up and running reboot the mini.
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)

note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

Reboot the minis as above.

What didn't work as doing this step by step is what is working for others:

Netflix on mini box

I have sky q and 2 mini boxes and a wireless booster. Netflix has stopped loading on one of the mini boxes (it used to) no error messages just the loading page, all other apps connect ok and network diagnostics saying connection is ok.  I have tried reconfiguring the wireless connection and also tried setting a static IP address but still same issue, I have swapped my 2 mini boxes to determine if it is poor wifi signal but the issue remains in the new location.  Any other suggestions or is the box faulty?

@Sincs69 there is an active issue with Netflix on some Q boxes being discussed here if thst sounds like your issue post there. It is highly unlikely to be linked to your Sky Broadband service as such.

Re: My Netflix is showing on screen but continually buffering

Also having the same issue, seems quite common.  My main Sky Q box is ok but the min box continually fails with the Netflix app.

Re: Netflix: Red Spinning Circle on Launch

Is there any update on this? as we are not using a Netflix as a service due to this ongoing issue and this is been a problem for quite a long time now.
