And bear in mind you can watch anything, you don't have to use the netflix app on the Q if you have any TV made in the last 10 years as they all have native apps, or you can get an amazon firestick cheap to run it. You have to reset your password on metflix.com if you don't know it, to be able to login on another device.

I'm having the same problem, I have tried everything. Cold ready the box, removed my Netflix accout from the device. None of this works, it's so annoying. It's clear the problem is with the sky software system. Sky box software version I have is Q230.000.14.00L (5nf3ptk)

Netflix opens, the Netflix logo appears but the red spinning loading circle appears on my box.

Netflix regularly doesn't load. Other apps ie Disney do. Have tried app refresh through settings. No joy. Any advice.

@Suze000 I have moved your post and merged it into a larger thread where lots of people are having a similiar problem. Have a read of the whole thread and you will find a couple of things that m\y work for you failing that if you reply to @Chloe-W22 with the information she asked for it will held determine what the problem is

For some reason whenever i go into netflix interactive shows it always says :
" I'm sorry but the device is currently unavailabe to netflix interactive please either get a new device with netflix and when setting up we will show you a code on the screen and you can type it in the homepage or please refresh your device " is this an upgrade ?😾

You need a device that actually supports the interactive stuff, ie not a Q box.
How does it work?
Choose Love is an interactive title, which means you control what happens in the story by making choices for the characters. You’ll be able to view this title on many newer devices, including newer smart TVs, streaming media players (Roku, Fire TV Stick), game consoles, browsers on your laptop/desktop via Netflix.com, and iOS or Android devices running the latest version of the Netflix app. Use your remote, gaming controller, mouse, or finger to make choices as the story unfolds.

Been constantly getting the spinning red circle on the Netflix splash screen, and have rebooted Sky Q and updated apps multiple times.
It's nothing to do with the Internet connection (1GB), or the box in general as can go straight to Disney Plus, Prime, Paramount etc with no issue.
It's purely a Netflix app issue in the Sky Q box as can log straight in if switch to Fire Stick or PC or phone app. Sometimes it connects on Sky Q without having to do anything, and occurs at different times if the day.

Please try @Sam9999's fix on P14. It is the best fix offered so far and has worked for many people.

I gave up and revert to a Firestick/Google TV on most of the apps - the BBC iPlayer seems to be the only reliable app on loading and not crashing. Even if it does load, it's slower on the Sky boxes (main and mini) where Prime is almost unuseable.

Hi all, I have found this post as I was getting frustrated with Netflix not working through Sky Q 2Tb but was working on other devices through the same network. Thumbnails weren't loading up correctly for apps and programs on the homepage either. All troubleshooting steps had been followed but nothing worked. I even had an engineer visit booked.
I may have found a simple solution that has worked for me and involved changing the DNS setting for the Sky Q box.
I have never changed the DNS anywhere but the Sky Q was using the Google DNS 8.8.8.8. I have changed this to the router IP and immediately all thumbnails started appearing and Netflix is now working through Sky box.
The relevant setting are in Settings>Status>Network connection>Network Setup>Advanced settings> then select Set manually.
My current working settings are:
IP Address - 192.168.0.100
Subnet mask - 255.255.255.0
Router - 192.168.0.1
DNS server - 192.168.0.1 (changed from 8.8.8.8)
Not sure why the sky box is not working fully using this DNS (Netflix and thumbnails not working but all other apps were) but mine is now working as it should be.
Hope this helps someone and possibly helps the Sky techs work out a resolution

Ha. That's funny and interesting because changing TO the google DNS has fixed other SkyQ issues for some people. I wonder who changed yours. The person who installed it?
