Aren't Sky supposed to supply a service on all platforms? We shouldn't have to go searching for other ways to watch Netflix just because, for whatever reason, they can't get it fixed! It's not good enough!!

Poeple were using netflix for years before sky had it

You seem to think I'm saying Sky shouldn't fix this. Not in the slightest. They should. They should also fix the flakey Q wifi but 8 years in it's still the most common problem on here. I'm saying banging your head against a brick wall until they do is not going to help. All this "opening another app and closing it to hope that netflix then works" in order to get an inferior version? Why bother?

Re: Netflix app crashing/won't load

Yeah...."Flakey Q WiFi" and continuous issues with Netflix, amongst other things! Perhaps it's time to look at Virgin!

Re: Netflix often not working on SkyQ

This issue is driving me insane. I've tried the unplugging and refreshing apps and still won't load. Why is sky not sorting this?

Re: Netflix often not working on SkyQ

My Netflix keeps "loading" but does not load. Sky have said it's an ongoing issue with Netflix. Spoke to Netflix. They know nothing of the issue.
What do I do?

Use Netflix via the TV app or a firestick and let Sky get on with it.

Re: Netflix app crashing/won't load

Try resetting the apps, it might not work on the same day but usually after 24 hours it works for me but then after a few good days it stops working again. It's really frustrating coz all sky is saying is they are trying to sort it out but no results as of yet. 😡😡😡

I don't know why anyone who has this problem perseveres with trying to use it. So many other ways to access Netflix.

Whilst there has been some help from from Superusers and Kirtsy in this post I have to say that has to be a pretty unhelpful and useless comment.

Yes of course there are however I pay for a service from SKY that includes Netflix being available via my Sky Q box.

When my TV system comes in it links my TV, amp and sky. So to access NF I should just scroll down into the Apps, select NF and off we go.

I could switch back to Freeview on be TV then access NF and then watch it there.

I could watch it on my computer

I could watch it on my phone.

However I pay for a service from SKY and I don't get what I paid for.

You're not a Sky employee but have been made a SUPERUSER. So for the benefit of those if us who have the issue - and the many more who do not contribute to the forum perhaps keep the dialogue and feedback going with Sky as that would be more helpful

Fair comment @MarkJ22 I don't have that issue on my Sky Q box if I did I'd watch it via the app on my  FiretvStick

I have Netflix via Sky

it's cheaper than paying Netflix directly it doesn't mean that I have to watch it via the Sky Q box

The Netflix app on my LG tv usually has this error more than Sky Q Netflix

My tv had lost connection to the WiFi it's connected now but the connection speed is only 1.97 Mbps 🤣🤣

Re: Netflix app crashing/won't load

I'm having the same issue, i ended up restarting my Q box and that fixed it.  Went away for a couple of days and returned home to the spinning red ring again.

So infuriating.

Re: Netflix app crashing/won't load

Apologies but I don't understand how to do this ?

My Netflix is a part of my SKY package so I don't have login/account details to access Netflix.com?!  Or do I ?!

Thanks

Didn't you set up a netflix password as part of the registration?

I'm sure you can do a password reset on it using the email address probably the one that you have registered with sky.

I don't have built in Freeview so we rely on sky to watch NF on the TV. Of course we could watch it on the phones but what fun is that.

The app on sky needs to be sorted as it's been going on for long enough now!!

It's got nothing to do with Freeview, which is terrestrial TV through an aerial (for now anyway).

Do you mean you don't have a smart TV? If you do have one then the app is most likely there, if not then an Amazon Firestick works just fine.

Everyone who still has issues, have you actually read and tried the "answer" on page 1 (2nd post)?

Re: Netflix app crashing/won't load

Hi Colin,

Many thanks for the advice with regards to the firestick....I'll look into that!

Also, I tried the answered comment on P1, didn't work for me.
