I assume this is why they are investigating rather than just saying "tough luck". Seems it's a tough one to get to the bottom of.
(I'm still blaming the bizarre Q wifi networking. If it can randomly disconnect from wifi and totally fail to reconnect then it can bugger up comms for an app quite happily)

Re: Netflix sporadically not loading
This is has been bought up in a separate stream with exactly the same issue. Sky are now involved and have bought in NETFLIX to investigate the route cause of the issue. It is still currently under investment.

Re: Netflix on sky q will not load
Wow, I have had this problem on an off (mainly not working for months now)
None of the suggestions make any difference.
However selecting Paramount (I am not signed up for it) then back to Netflix worked.
At least for now....
Thanks to the original poster of this idea, I can't get quote to work.

Re: Netflix app crashing/won't load
I found an answer on the internet. If you open your bbc iplayer app on your sky q box then go to Netflix app it will work. I tried this and my netflix worked again

Re: Netflix app crashing/won't load
Thank you.
That's what I do. It's been discussed in this post previously but it's good to see it works for others
It's still not the way NF should work though 😬😬😬

Re: Netflix app crashing/won't load
Doesn't work for me. I can open and close any app, makes no difference. I can reset the box, the apps, nothing makes any difference. I can flush the dns on my router, nothing... Netflix will not load on my Sky Q box.

Re: Netflix app crashing/won't load
Hi @Kirsty+S27
I was intermittently experiencing the same issue with Netflix, hanging on the loading screen for so long I often gave up waiting and moved onto another streaming service.
Thank you, it worked.
Many thanks
Terri ☺️

Netflix app not working
Hi,
When I try to get into Netflix it's moves to the Netflix branded page but then just has a red circle of doom. All other apps work. I have refreshed apps three times over the last couple of days and also completely shut off and rebooted twice.
Any other suggestions!?
Thanks,
Jenna

Hi @Jenna24
First try rebooting your internet router.
Disconnect power lead for 30 secs and then reconnect.
Wait until the router is completely back up and running and then reboot the Q box again.
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)
note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.
