Netflix breach of contract

I have Netflix premium with HD with sky. All of a sudden I cannot watch Netflix whilst working in Oxford as my registered address is Derbyshire.  This is breach of contract. I was not notified of these changes. I am

more than happy to pay what I should. But sky are Charing me for a whole month that I cannot use in the manner I took out the contract in. I just want my account unlinked.  Netflix say Sky have to do it but the sky advisor does not understand. I have made 2 calls in the past few days over 30 minutes each and to no success.   I just want my subscription cancelled and I do not want to be charged for a service that is in breach of contract.

Re: Netflix breach of contract

If this is with another TV at a different address from the one you are registered at then it is probably a netflix implimentation, not down to Sky .

This change of 'sharing your Netlix at multiple locations  for some devices' originated from Netflix and Sky changed their policy, directed by netflix end of last year.
It was clearly announced in many media sources and online around the time.

For how it all works with your Netflix paid via your Sky account, read the Sky Help article here;

Re: Netflix breach of contract

This is what Sky say on their website about using Netflix whilst travelling away from home:

Watching Netflix outside your household / Going on holiday / Travelling

You can still watch Netflix on the go on your mobile devices, like a laptop, mobile or tablet – or sign into a new TV, at a hotel or holiday home.

You'll just need to log into Netflix on your mobile device(s) while connected to the WiFi network at your Netflix household after 30 days.

For more information about using Netflix outside your household, go to the Netflix website.

If you have agreed a minimum term then I'm afraid you won;t be able to cancel in any event.

You'll come across the same issue regardless if you pay Sky or Netflix  it's a simple process which if you take the time to read is quite straightforward really

I've been in different house not my registered address since December but had no issues watching Netflix at home or via the app on my mobile phone whilst using a different service provider or mobile data.

If you go over the 30 days, an "I am travelling" option comes up on the screen that qives you another 30 day when you click it but can only be used once. After that you need to login to Netflix while on your home network.

Correct in part @simon194 but you can also request a temporary access code

This code is for travel or temporary access outside your Netflix Household.

Oh dear, you need to read the t&cs that you signed up to before making ludicrous claims.
