Spinng wheel is the problem in the megathread. Has a workaround and they are working on a fix

@JeffDmac wrote:Hi
Using Netflix through my SkyQ box, I ran the "Check Network"/ Connection speed, and it is 71.01Mbps.
Which is the same as the rest of my Sky router equipment..
I'm gonna use the Apps I pay for through my TV until the Sky Man Visits..
Yeah that is more than enough.
as for the 2nd remote thing, bit of a first world problem 😉
the TV apps support dolby vision and 24fps content and the Q apps don't so the extra remote is a minor inconvenience for better quality. Having said that my Q network speed is much better than my TV's for reasons I don't really understand so I tend to use the Q anyway.

Re: Netflix and other apps on skyQ pixelating.
Same issue for me on Netflix, great to find out it's not just my tv!
Have just run the app updates, will see if it makes a difference.
If not, will try using the App rather than saying Netflix into the controller and see if that works.
Cheers

The Sky man swapped my Q Box for the latest version and since then it's been ok.
Had one or two slight pixilations but not like before continuous.

Re: Netflix and other apps on skyQ pixelating.
Updating Apps didn't help
Whe using the Netflix App itself, I do not get the pixellation
Not ideal as it's a few more steps and different remote, but at least it's watchable again now!

Re: Netflix and other apps on skyQ pixelating.
I have the same issue with Netflix pixelating when viewed using Sky Q. The netflix app on my Panasonic TV works fine with zero pixelation. Both are connected to the same Sky router using ultrafast 500mb fibre. I think the Sky Q box just lacks graphics processing power even though I'm running latest firmware (5u193hm) on 32B062 hardware.

Nah it's always run fine before. The Q has to decompress 4k video streams for their own content so the apps shouldn't be a problem.
32B0xx is a 1st gen box that can't do HDR as I recall?

@ChodleyWhat hardware version do you have? I assume you don't get the pixelation issue with Netflix when watching through Sky Q?
