I have checked aerial cable connection as instructed.Now the tv has switched itself off again!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@CaroleBrice Weak or no signal is your TV looking for a freeview or freesat signal, you need to use the TV's remote to cycle through the inputs until you get to the HDMI your Sky Q box uses.
