My tv and broadband is being cancelled on date I’m moving house but I’ve not requested this.
I've been notified that my broadband and sky q is being cancelled on the day I'm due to move out of my house .
I have not authorised this and I'm assuming it has been requested by the new owner without my prior permission. Is this normal legal procedure or an error on sky's part ie not notified me of this cancellation as it is my contract. It is also stating on my account that a new sky package is being delivered on the day the new owners are moving in. Who would be accountable for this? Any help would much appreciated.

Contact the home move team, they should be able to help.
Afaik you have to be living in the property the services are contracted to. (Or own it as a 2nd home I guess)

@2Bob55 The new owner certainly can't cancel your TV subscription, I'm not sure if broadband is any different.
Have you initiated a Home Move through Sky?

This all day long I'd have thought. It's been a long while since I moved house with Sky but I'd imagine for the broadband at least (and especially if changing from FTTC to FTTP say) you'd get a cancellation notice and then notification of the new service starting. I wonder if the same is true for Stream?
They certainly wouldn't inform anyone of someone else's account details. The only way that could occur is if the outgoing tenant opens mail addressed to the new tenant.
