My sky q keeps losing internet connection. I reset, shows it it connected but still says not?

Hi,

We are continually having to reconnect our broadband router. Even when we do, and sky says connected to he internet, we still can't access sky q home page or apps etc. Is our box faulty and if so, how/who can fix it?

Who is your Broadband supplier @Dunna100 ?

Zen internet, and through a router. All other gadgets are connected and working fine. 

Trying to do a q box software update but that is just hanging(probably because the connection isn't right).

Assume you are carrying out a Network reset on your main Q box and connecting it to the router 2.4 GHz band?

Do you have the possibility to use an Ethetnet connection?

Can't hardwire via ethernet..they are in different rooms.

Hi @Dunna100 

You could use Powerline units to connect by Ethernet.

Also you never answered my question on the method of WiFi connection you are using for the Q box.

Apologise..Just the WiFi to the router. I have now managed to see the update finished and now can access the home page and apps. 

I definitely think the qbox is faulty in someway..this router/the WiFi constantly disconnects and has done for a good few months now.
