My sky q box is flashing red and amber and won't work.

My sky q box is flashing red and amber. When I switch it on it says it is updating software, but this has taken a very long time.

Hi @Mboffey Try rebooting your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on to reboot?
