I had to change my router so I connected the sky q box to it ( wired ) which is working fine. But my mini box is only showing an orange light and the TV screen is blank .

Hi @vmtm Try rebooting your router by removing the power cable for 30 sec then reconnect to reboot, then reboot your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on to reboot, then do the same with any Mini boxes?

This is brand new it was working fine yesterday, so what is the problem or do I need to go back Virgin

I've done all of that, I'm not in the mood for this rubbish, I have paid good money for a service I'm not getting.

@Bev63 what happens if you press the orange light does the box come on if it does then it may be your remote that is the problem if it doesn't then it may be a box problem
You could also Try resetting your remote.
Press the buttons 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes twice then follow onscreen instructions to repair the remote.
If none of this works let us know and we can escalate this to Sky for you
