My sky mini box is continuously freezing when watching live TV. Downloaded programmes are fine.

I suggest you try a power down restart of both boxes:
The first thing is to restart your main SKY Q box :
Use the remote to place it into standby mode
Then remove the power to it (either switch off at mains or remove the power plug)
Wait at least 30s
Then re-apply the power & wait for it to fully restart - this may take a few minutes.
Once the main box is restarted do the same power down on the mini box.

@nigea99 @Thanks - I tried that and also spoke to a lovely sky customer advisor who said that my sky Q box was too close to the wifi router and was causing interference to the sky mini box.
I have rearranged my set up throughout to distance all the boxes and routers and so far, all is working better.
