My Sky Tv suddenly went blank (actually blue) with a message that there is a technical fault with this channel. Please try again later.

@Henry+the+mystery  Have you tried a reboot by unplugging the Q box from the mains for a minute and plug back in.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
