My old tv broke and I want to set up my skyQ with a newly purchased tv. How do I do it?

After years of faithful service my old Sony tv has got picture problems.  I have bought a new LG Smart tv and I would like to install it tomorrow and use my existing SkyQ box.  How do I go about doing this please

Hi @Mo21

Unless your old Sony did not have an HDMI input (which I think is  unlikely), it should just be a matter of unplugging the HDMI from your OLD TV & plug it into your new TV & select the relevant input.

hi @Mo21

.Just a case of connecting the HDMI cable from TV to Q box.

If your TV is UHD (4K) capable and you have a UHD compatible Q box it is a bit more involved.

See following link to set up UHD.
