My movie channels are all distorted and you can’t watch anything. Considering the amount I pay each

Movie channels are all distorted and cannot watch anything on them. My sky bill is quite high and I am unable to watch any movies. I tried calling and was directed here. Constantly have to download movies to watch which is ridiculous!

Hi @Doreen-W   I cannot believe that an advisor directed you here, as this is a public community forum and definitely not Sky customer services. It sounds like your dish is out of alignment, only Sky can help you with that.

Are you seeing a message “no satellite signal”. If you are firstly check that the connections from the Sky dish going into the back of your Sky Q box are still finger tight. Otherwise it’s likely to be a dish alignment issue so check the troubleshooting in this link

It may then give you the opportunity to arrange an engineer to check the alignment of your dish. If it doesn’t you’ll need to contact Sky to book an engineer appointment.

If you are connected to a communal dish you need to liaise with your building management company / landlord who will have their approved engineers to contact.

Remember, a misalignment is not necessarily something that will be visible to the naked eye and could only affect one or two channels.

To remove part of your TV package you need to give Sky 31 days notice. Be aware if you have 'in contract' discounts you may not be able to remove them. Also make sure cancellation of a certain add-on doesn’t cancel another part of a discount.
