My infer red isn’t working on sky mini box

My control won't work with my sky mini box, I have followed all the steps and re connected the control which is working

changes tv volume ect

the sky is playing but nothing changes when you press the buttons other than the tv itself

Which steps did you follow, the full "hold down 7&9" reset?

(it's infra-red by the way)
