My contract with sky is up jan 20th 2024 they are telling me my discounts will finish when should i

My contract is up with sky Jan 20th 2024 when should I try negotiate for better contract or should I try virgin 1st for better deal  

Sky are getting very expensive and I dont really understand them when on phone need to speak with good English speaking people can you suggest when I should contact them
