My Tv is not connected to the internet

There has been a fault with the internet connection to our village all day, it's now been restored and I have connections with all devices apart from a TV that will not connect, I've been through the unplugging and restarting the router but it's still not connecting, I have one green power light and a flashing amber light

Hi @Juliesinar 

Assume this your main Q box.

Try a Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WiFi to your router.
If you are on Sky broadband you will be asked to press the WPS button on the Sky router. (Not on the Q box as the Network reset will start the main Q box WPS automatically). Make sure you press the WPS button on the Sky router and not the reset button.
if you are on 3rd party (non Sky ) broadband then you need to enter the SSID and password for the router 2.4 Ghz WiFi band.

Hi I've tried by pushing the WPS button a number of times and holding it for up to 4 minutes.

You sure it's the right button? The WPS button on a sky router is well hidden and you can't just press it, you have to initiate the search from the Q box too.

 

try the steps in post 7 here and take a look at the suggestion in post 8 too

Thanks very much!! I was pressing the wrong button. As you said the one on the router isn't obvious.
