My TV keeps dissconnecting from the Internet, and we have very slow Internet speeds. Need advice

Our TV keeps dissconecting from the Internet, and recently our Internet speeds have dropped. Which is annoying as my partner has recently started working from home. I've tried to ring and ask for advice but to no effect. We've got a WiFi booster in a bedroom but it doesn't seem to be doing much. Just looking for advice on how to resolve my issue. Cheers
