My SkyQ box keeps locking up and crashes.

Whilest I am watching sometghing through "the you tube app" on my Sky Q box, the video play back stops and the sound continues to play for a short time the stops all together.

I then switch it off via the remote and leave it of fo 30 seconds, but when I restart the Qbox it fails to display TV programes. The only way I can get it to restart is to simulate a power cut by switching it of at the wall for 30 seconds.

As I am paying a lot of money for this service I am not happy, My previousn sky+ box that I had was a hell of lot more stable than my current box.

Is there a fix to correcxt the problem please.

Thank you

Well I have sorted the problem after talking to some one from sky, BUt I figured out the one of the subscribed channels I watch had become corrupted  to, so I unsubscribed that channel and touch wood things appear to working correctly.

For Now.

What did they have you do to fix it?

or do you mean that last corrupted channel thing was what was needed and you figured it out for yourself?

One of the sbcribed channels I watch on YouTube, the downloaded video was corrupated some how rthe sound was fine but the video was corrupted, so I unsubscribed from that channel and that appears to rectified the problem.IMG_0179.JPG

The image above is how the video playback was after about 4 minutes of good video.
