My Sky remote won’t work, so I’m unable to watch tv. Please help me to use the box with no remote

Please help me use my Sky box without my remote. It has stopped working (have changed batteries too). I can't watch tv at all. I need to speak to customer service tomorrow, but having no tv now is affecting my mental health problems. Please help

If you have an iPhone or iPad there is a virtual remote in the sky go app.

For a longer term solution after checking the basics, ie; fresh batteries, re-pairing etc if your Sky Q remote is definitely broken/faulty, if you follow this link it should allow you to do some more troubleshooting and then it’ll send you to a form to request a replacement (apparently this is not available to customers in the ROI).

It may be quicker to purchase a new remote from a retailer or larger supermarket. If you do that as well you’ll have a spare.
