My Sky q main box keeps losing connection to BT router I have tried all suggestions without success now I have to wait till September 9th for an engineer I have had this issue for 2/3 months got better after a phone fix and now untenable very very disappointed and frustrated sorry SKY this is poor I believe my box old and has lost functionality despite being up to date with software updates

Have you ensured the router has any 'smart connect' functions disabled?
Is steering disabled? (As a signal routed to 5GHz will drop)
I would recommend setting up two SSID's and ensuring the Q is connecting to the 2.4G band only.
