My Sky Q box will not stay connected to TP-Link Deco XE75 wifi 6 mesh
I installed a TP-link XE75 pro wifi mesh a few weeks ago to replace my old BT wifi network. Initially the sky q box seemed to connect and work ok but now it constantly drops off the wifi.
My current configuration is a sky q box linked to sateliite dish and wifi, and a sky mini box with an ethernet cable link to the main sky q box.
Anyone with same issue or ideas to fix?

Re: My Sky Q box will not stay connected to TP-Link Deco XE75 wifi 6 mesh
It looks like this is a common issue with Q boxes connecting to 3rd party WiFi when all other devices don't have an issue.
Ive just spent hours trying to get my Q box connected to a non-Sky router. It connects but only for about 20 seconds before dropping off again when all other devices are connected and accessing the internet fine.
I'm convinced there's something in the hardware to make you use Sky WiFi. As soon as I turned the Sky Hub WiFi back on, no issues. I've bought some powerline adapters (which shouldn't need me to fork out for to get their equipment working properly) to hopefully just hardwire it and have done with it - then I can finally leave Sky broadband.

I have always suspected technical quality rather than malicious intent.
To the OP - try plugging both Q and mini into mesh nodes via ethernet and disable wifi on both. You'll need to reset the network connection on both.
