My Sky Q and mini box cuts out intermittently

My Sky Q and mini box cuts out intermittently. This happens with live tv and for any recordings too. Sometimes there is an error message on screen: MR106. Other times there will be message stating that the boxes are unable to connect to the activation server (broadband is also with Sky too).

 

I have tired turning the mains off and re-setting. As well as going through the necessary troubleshooting steps. However, this has been to no avail. This has been happening for about 2 months now and is extremely frustrating.

@Ken3112 what have you tried to sort it. 

Have you tried rebooting your main Q box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions

then rebooting your mini box
