My Netflix on sky is in a completely different language!

We have Netflix on our SkyQ account. However, it has suddenly changed to a different language and we can't seem to change it. My wife has tried to see if she can find the settings for Netflix on screen, but has been unable to. I can't find a way of changing this. The other parts of our SkyQ packages are in the usual language - English. HELP!!!

Yep, sure sign your Netflix (not Sky) account has been hacked.

 

Before you contact Netflix (https://help.netflix.com/en) carry out the following which will help speed up the resolution:

 

Go to the Netflix app on Sky Q and on the screen with the random profile press the following buttons on the Sky remote:

 

Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up,Up, Up

 

This opens a hidden menu.

 

You can get the email address that the hacker used from the "membership" (Miembro) tab, and the service code from the "contact us" (Contactarnos) tab.

 

Netflix Live chat should then be able to log the hackers out of Netflix on your sky q box, reset the email address associated with the Netflix account back to your own email address, and send you a link to follow to reset password and PIN number on the Netflix website on your mobile phone

 

I am just another Sky customer!

I haven't got Netflix but previous posts on here suggest your Netflix account has been hacked and you need to contact Netflix direct.

Thanks for the information. I've gained access to the hidden menu, and am currently on a live chat with netflix. It has been hacked

While you're on the chat with them can you ask them to fix their authentication mechanism because this happens a lot and shouldn't be possible.
