Hello All,
I recently had a new sky q ultra hd box installed in order to be able to watch on two mini boxes. Ever since the installation, I've had crosses on the 'watch on sky mini' and 'watch on sky go' options when you access System->Settings on main sky q box. Thus the mini boxes can't connect to the sky q box.
We've tried via Wifi and Ethernet to no avail.
Furthermore, when I try downloading movies from sky cinema it's stuck on 0%. The same happens when I try downloading sports programmes via Sky Sports. I have plenty of disk space and can download stuff from other non sky channels e.g. BBC, ITV etc.
When I try launching Netflix it says app is not available and I also cannot access my sky account via the sky q box; it says there's a technical problem.
I've had two engineer visits and the sky q box has been swapped. I've even had a new card sent through. We've had two CRF requests and numerous resets and updates of the main box, all to no avail.
Sky gave up on the issue and have ended up cancelling my multi screen and Netflix since they can't solve the problem.
I have an another engineer visit this week to look at the downloading issue described above but I don't think that'll come to anything considering two precious engineers have tried to no avail.
My broad band provider is Zen and I have the Fritz 7530AX router.
Please has anyone experienced this sort of problem before?
