I have completed the "move home" section in the My Sky app but it didn't seem to allow me to request a Sky Q box anywhere.
No, because a change in subscription platform is an entirely separate process to a Home Move, and within a minimum contract term Sky isn't obliged to permit it.
As @Quoman7 indicates, you'll need to call Sky to negotiate, and face the possibility of an increased monthly cost because Q is no longer the flagship product which Sky wants to promote.

Hi all (first time poster) I used to have Sky TV& broadband in my old house with a Sky Q box. 7 months ago I moved into rented accommodation and the landlord would not allow a dish so I contacted sky and got a puck. I am moving again this week and the new house has an existing dish - so I would like to get a new Sky Q box as I miss the facilities it offered. I have completed the "move home" section in the My Sky app but it didn't seem to allow me to request a Sky Q box anywhere. How do I go about achieving this? Many thanks
Hi @Baz-La You will need to call SKY and talk to an advisor about any changes to your SKY subscription.
