Moving home tomorrow and no contract from Sky regarding collection of Sky Q Box by courier
I found out I was moving home only 4 days ago and move tomorrow. Sky informed me a courier would come to my present address in the next day or so to collect my old Sky box and give me a replacement but they have not been in contact.

Why do you require a replacement box?
The key factor when moving home is ensuring that the new property has a working Sky Q compatible dish/LNB and cabling.

Also, have you arranged a Sky Home Move? These normally take 2 weeks.

When I went online to say I was moving it automatically said they needed to courier a new box. No idea why. We have a dish at the new house. A engineer is booked for a weeks time install but open reach have text separatemy to say they will be in touch for advice on what to do

You need to take your current Sky Q and remote with you to the new address. I don't understand why Sky would arrange collection of a perfectly good working box to then replace it?

I'd imagine that's a clue a router replacement is required to enable FTTP broadband installation rather than anything to do with Sky television, and so the message relates to a Sky Q Hub rather than a Sky Q box.

If it's in the UK, putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which broadband provisioning type is applicable.

It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.
Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.
