Moving home next week. Do I take Sky Q Box and Hub with me?

Moving home next week. Been sent two cables only. Do I take existing Sky Q Box and Hub to new address and set up myself?

You take the hub, and Sky Q box(es) with you. Have you arranged a Sky Home Move?

Yes. It's all booked in but was vague about taking existing equipment. There's an engineer booked the day after move but I think a seperate note said it was down to me to hook everything up. OK will take Sky Q box and Hub and connect up when I get there. Thank you.

The Sky Home Move would involve a Sky engineer attending your new address which will definitely be required if there is no dish there or the dish was used for Sky+ by the previous occupants.

The existing occupants have Sky. I don't think there is a dish there so I imagine it's via cable. I'll assume the engineer visit goes ahead anyway. Thanks again.

Usually Q requires an individual dish.  However, there are some fibre distribution systems on some housing estates.
