Moving home - but don't want installation at new address

We move home soon, but don't want to install Sky at the new address. Are we fine just giving Sky the new address and leave it at that? We will be cancelling in September anyway as we are moving to another provider.

You can do this if you want, cancelling when you get round to it requires giving Sky 31 days notice for the TV and 14 days for broadband and talk.

Should be - just remember to take the Q equipment with you as it will need to be returned (keep proof of posting).

Give notice 31 days before the end of your minimum term - you'll obviously have to keep paying until the billing system is finalised.  (Bills are generated 14 days before payment date, including the month in advance even during and past the end of your notice period - subsequent bill after termination date will generate the pro-rata credit)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
