Moving home, but can't have dish.

Hi, I'm moving home in a couple of weeks, I currently have a dish and Sky Q, but i'm moving into a flat and there is no dish, and not sure I can have one. Will they just switch me over to Sky Stream instead and should i tell them this or will the engineer have equipment on the van?

Many Thanks

Alex

You need to call Sky once you've confirmed you can't have your own dish or there isn't a communal dish for Sky Q.

Stream is self install and there is no engineer input. Research it throughly before committing.

thank you  Daniel0210, I've just had confirmation from my landlord there is indeed a shared dish (its taken them awhile to get back to me).

So looks like I will be sticking with Sky Q.

Still worth booking a home move as the Q configuration is different for a communal dish.  (Assuming the dish supports Q?)

Thank you, yes I've got the engineer coming, so fingers crossed everthing goes okay.
