Hi,
I set up with Sky Q at my new address recently and when the engineer came out to put up the Satellite Dish he brought the cable for my Sky Q box into my dining room at the back off the house. He said I could use my main box in here and use one off my multi rooms in the living room at the front it wouldn't make any difference. But now I have Sky Q 2TB and I don't want it in the back room with the kids etc. I'd like it to come into my living room as would be normal procedure. Will Sky send someone out just to bring the cable in to my living room , I actually have a broadband engineer from Sky coming next week would he do this for me? Has anyone got any knowledge or advice please?

Indeed - it will be an OpenReach engineer that won't touch the satellite cables...

Yes, but they may want to charge around £65 and there may be a wait...

The cable currently running along my dining room floor into my living room, I could put it along the skirting myself but I'd need more cable and would prefer coming through the wall into the living so be worth paying for but I regret now agreeing to it, he was a nice engineer and it was easier for him and using a multi box in my main room with the 2tb in the dining room he said wouldn't make any difference and I agreed but regretting it now but that's not his vault nice fella and he did say it to me so i wouldn't be complaining to sky , just ask for it to be moved
