Monthly price change to upgrade from sky Q essentials to signature

I joined Sky 3 months ago and took out the Sky Q Essentials TV and Broadband package. I have since decided that I would like to upgrade the Essentials TV to Signature TV. I currently pay £30 per month for Essentials and Broadband.

I called Sky to see what the price difference would be if I upgraded to Sky Signature TV. I was told that it would be almost another £30 per month, practically doubling my monthly bill.

I can't afford that much of an increase. Does anybody know a way around this or have they managed to get a better deal? I want to stay with Sky Q and not go to Sky Stream. Thanks in advance.

Signature retails at almost 3 times essentials - unless Sky are prepared to give you a momental discount then there's 'no way around it'.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Essentials has no Sky content at all and Signature has loads so I'm surprised it's only £30 more.

But I guess if essentials is about 15 a month that matches the 3x

Realistically that's something like £25 for broadband and £5 for Television Essentials, so 'almost £30' increase to get Signature is entirely plausible, particularly as Sky is now much more likely to discount bundles on Glass/Stream rather than Q.
