My Sky Q box has stopped working.............. I have a sound but no picture and just a message saying "connecting to your sky Q box…" with a spinning wheel............. How do I clear this message and get back in?? I've tried switching off my Sky Q box and turning it back on again but still get the same message, i've also tried turning off my wifi (also Sky) and turning that back on again but am still getting the same message - anyone any ideas please? Thank you....

Yes it is a mini box

First try rebooting the main Q box and then when this is completely back up and running reboot the mini.
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)
note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.
Reboot the mini as above.
If the mini still does not connect try a Network Reset on the mini.
Network Reset found in mini Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to WPS with main Q box.
You will be asked to press the WPS button on the main Q box (not the mini as the Network reset will start the mini WPS automatically).
If you are on Sky Broadband and the Router is nearer to the mini than the main box then you can try pressing WPS on the router instead of the main Q box

Thanks for that but unfort it didn't work when I unplugged the main Sky Q box......how exactly do I do the network reset on the mini box as when I click home on the remote & point at the box it doesn't show anything on the tv other than the message "connecting to your sky Q box" & the spinning wheel.....so i'm not sure how to do the network reset???? Thank you.......

Try rebooting the mini again.
if you get the same message try pressing the WPS button on the main Q box

Unfortunately that didn't work either, I still have the "connecting to your Sky Q Box" message on screen.......

Ok @Jemm27
I assume your main TV has a spare HDMI input.
If it is possible move your mini and connect it to a spare HDMI input on your main TV.
Keep the main Q box connected normally and it needs to be at least in standby.
Select the mini HDMI on the TV and power up the mini. See if it will connect

Did you ever get this problem sorted.
I have 3 mini boxes.....2 are showing this blue screen and "connecting to your sky box" but nothing happens..

Currently having the same issue with one of my four mini boxes.
Have had this happen before and a power cycle of the mini box usually fixes it, but not this evening.
The other three mini boxes are operating fine, as is the main box.
Going to try a factory reset.
