MAIN SKY BOX STUCK ON ORANGE LIGHT

Firstly, the mini box in another room is working.

Main TV working ok when on "normal tv"

Weak or no signal message - checked all cables - ok. unplugged and waited. Had Hello mesaage and pressed home key as requested. No response, orange light.

Changed remote batteries, no difference. Tried the other remote which is working, no difference.

Unplugged and tried a different hdmi cable that had worked on another item. Same messages, hello screen etc

No change and orange light.

Checked connection via sky app and states all ok. TRied online chat - useless. doesnt like anything not listed and won't recognise any part of a sentance that doesn't cover it's basic questions, even "chat to agent". 

Not sure what else to try other than possibly requesting a new cable?

Hi @vicksterp 

Have you tried pressing the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the Q box.
If this turns the Q box on
With the Q box on with green led try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair to TV.

Thanks for the reply. I posted whilst I was on hold but managed to get through to someone. Pressed both buttons and it worked so i know what to try if it happens again....
