Most likely reason is that your were  approaching maximum hard drive capacity and your Q box has carried out Housekeeping to make more space.

'Check if your Deleted section in Recordings - Manage is completely empty.

Thanks for your reply. Nothing in deleted. Am gutted this has happened. You'd think if the storage was full it would no longer allow recordings to take place, rather than delete random shows that I intended to keep / watch!
