@CassellsB yes but for me it's only if it is torrential/ really heavy rain. If your is doing it in light rain then your dish may be slightly out of alignment.

Only in extremely heavy rain or thunderstorms.
This is an issue with your dish or cables.

We both specify "only in heavy rain" (and it needs to be biblical proportions to affect my signal). OP states "when it rains" implying that it does it with any rainfall.

@Anonymous I would also add that as we both imply heavy rain @CassellsB should know that it's normal to lose signal in heavy rain(mine also has to be really bad hence me mentioning torrential and its not normal in light rain
